Joris van Gelder works pragmatically, approachably, and with a touch of humor. He draws energy from the diversity and complexity of insolvency cases and values collaboration with clients and colleagues.

Joris has been affiliated with TWA since 2023, bringing with him over ten years of experience in the auction and insolvency sector. As a valuation specialist and advisor, he focuses on bankruptcies, liquidations, restarts, WHOA (Dutch Bankruptcy Act) procedures, and business closures. His clients include bankruptcy trustees, financial institutions, and companies.

His expertise includes valuing (general) inventory and machinery, performing inventory reports, and preparing valuation reports within WHOA procedures. He combines in-depth business and asset analyses with scenario analysis to achieve optimal insights.

Joris and his colleagues not only provide advice but also implement settlement scenarios as needed by the client. In this way, he offers clients a solid basis for well-considered decisions, with attention to both the valuation itself and the next steps that need to be taken.
