Bram Otten joined Troostwijk Auctions in 2008 as an auction project manager. This period provided him with valuable and instructive experience, allowing him to gain first-hand knowledge of the dynamics of the auction and insolvency world. By working with a wide range of companies and meeting various stakeholders, he developed a broad and nuanced view of the business world, as well as a lasting interest in organisational issues and decision-making processes.
Since 2019, Bram has been working at TWA B.V. as an appraiser of machinery and business inventories. He is a member of the Federation of Appraisers, Brokers and Auctioneers (TMV) and a registered appraiser of machinery and business inventories, which allows him to actively maintain his professional knowledge.
In recent years, Bram has further specialised in valuing stocks in insolvency proceedings and conducting stock audits for large Dutch banks. His strength lies in the combination of analytical skills and practical insight: carefully mapping out all relevant factors relating to value and collateral, and working out various scenarios to arrive at a realistic and optimally substantiated valuation.
